Michelle Oswald (Michael Oswald)
from childhood he knew that his future will be connected with the arts.
Not thinking himself capable of becoming a professional artist, Michelle
went to study at a graphic designer. "Classes are mainly focused on
commercial logos, advertising, and all of this was more like a job than a
calling. Sitting in the gallery,  Oswald often indulged in Photoshop
and 3D Studio Max, to draw any pictures that he looked cool, but
According to the teachers, they were quite unattractive commercially.
" Today, the work Michael Oswald not only commercially successful, but
also stylistically unique. Michelle is working on a photo. Comes up with
the concept of the image, looking for the right model, makes about 400
frames per shot, selects 3-4 best, and then sits down at the desktop,
munching Cheetos and convert photos unrecognizable. Artist tools are
Canon 5D with 50mm, 1.4, quad PC with 6 GB of RAM, Photoshop. 15 more images after the break...

Ship Models Made From Human Bones
Macabre Ship Models Made From Human Bones
 — Left alone for years at the beginning of the 19th Century, French
soldiers taken captive during the Napoleonic Wars found an unusually
hobby — fashioning ornate replicas of British ships, out of beef and
human bone. The soldiers made use of any bone they came across, to
create these fascinating models. These rare "bone ship" models tend to
sell for tens of thousands of dollars at auction, as collectors go nuts
for these macabre historical relics. But how on Earth did prisoners of
war create such accurate ship models, out of such bizarre materials? The
top image is a bone ship model created by a 19th Century French
prisoner of war auctioned by Heritage Galleries in 2006. 08 more images after the break...
10 Incredible Navigable Aqueducts
Navigable
aqueducts (sometimes called water bridges) are bridge structures that
carry navigable waterway canals over other rivers, valleys, railways or
roads. They are primarily distinguished by their size, carrying a larger
cross-section of water than most water-supply aqueducts. Although Roman
aqueducts were sometimes used for transport, aqueducts were not
generally used until the 17th century when the problems of summit level
canals had been solved and modern canal systems started to appear.

The Pontcysyllte Aqueduct is a
navigable aqueduct that carries the Llangollen Canal over the valley of
the River Dee in Wrexham County Borough in north east Wales. Completed
in 1805, it is the longest and highest aqueduct in Britain, a Grade I
Listed Building and a World Heritage Site. Built by Thomas Telford and
William Jessop, it is 307 m. (1,007 ft.) long, 3.4 m. (11 ft.) wide and
1.6 m. (5.25 ft.) deep.

The towpath is mounted above the
water, with the inner edge carried on cast-iron pillars in the trough.
This arrangement allows the water displaced by the passage of a narrow
boat to flow easily around it, enabling relatively free passage. Every
five years the ends of the aqueduct are closed and a plug in one of the
highest spans is opened to drain the canal water into the River Dee
below, for inspection and maintenance of the trough. [Link - Map]

10 Most Expensive Celebrity Auctions
I
think we should all agree to the fact that sometimes we do get green
with envy simply because the celebrities apparently have it all starting
from the huge villa’s on spacious estates and the best cars money can
buy, the chance to wear the most expensive ensembles and what not! Well I
have a news flash for you guys, not only do the triump with fame during
their lifestime, even after they die, they continue to benefit from
that success.
How
so you might ask! Well, the stuff that they own is auctioned after they
die, for so much more than its actual buying price and certainly the
earnings go to the family. Although I must admit that sometimes the
proceedings do go to charity but oh well! Here is a list of some of the
most famous celebrity auctions ever.
01. Dorothy Gale’s Ruby Slippers
Considering
that fact that he is a guy, when David Elkouby paid $666,000  for the
pair of red pumps that Dorothy wore in the Wizard of Oz, it really did
come as a shock as that is one hefty price a male pays for a pair of
pumps. 09 more after the break...
Top 10 Beautiful Princesses

Princess
Mary is living proof that fairy tales can come true. A native of
Hobart, Tasmania, this elegant 39-year-old was working at an Australian
advertising agency in 2000 when she literally bumped into a handsome
young man named “Fred” in a crowded Sydney pub. It wasn’t until a half
hour later that a friend informed her that “Fred” was in fact Frederik,
Crown Prince of Denmark.
The pair fell head over heels in
love and were married four years later on May 14, 2004 in a lavish
ceremony conducted at Copenhagen Cathedral. Mary has since become a
beloved figure in Denmark where, according to a recent poll, 75 % of
Danes believe she will make an excellent queen.

Conquest Vehicles, a company famous for building the KNIGHT XV armored SUV, has revealed this week a new unarmored model, which is called the Evade. Even though the Conquest Evade looks very similar to the KNIGHT XV, there are a few differences. The Evade has narrower wheel arches, a new front fascia with redesigned headlights, a modified grille and other minor design changes. Its rear bumper has an integrated step to facilitate entry and exit. The Conquest Evade is made from aluminum and steel, and it's a lot lighter than the KNIGHT. This means better performance and improved efficiency. Unfortunately, Conquest
did not release a lot of technical details regarding the Evade. What we do know is that it's built on a Ford F550 Super Duty chassis and that it's available with either a petrol or a diesel engine. Naturally, it has a 4x4 drivetrain. The equipment list of the Evade includes quite a few fun gizmos. For instance, the search light you see mounted on the roof can be rotated 360 degrees with the help of a joystick. The Conquest Evade also comes with a FLIR night vision camera.

20 Legendary Love Stories
1. Romeo and Juliet
This is probably the most famous lovers ever. This couple has become a synonym for love itself. Romeo and Juliet is a tragedy by William Shakespeare. Their love story
is very tragic. The tale of two teenagers from two feuding families
who fall in love at first sight and then marry, become true lovers and
then risk it all for their love. To take your own life for your husband
or wife is definitely a sign of true love. Their "untimely deaths"
ultimately unite their feuding households.
